You retain full ownership of all stories, characters, and creative content you generate through FableMatic. This includes:

• All stories created using our AI tools
• Custom characters you design
• Story themes, settings, and narratives you develop
• Any personalized content generated through our platform

FableMatic does not claim ownership of your creative works. You are free to use, modify, publish, or distribute your content as you see fit, subject to these Terms.

Commercial Use and Attribution

If you choose to make your FableMatic-created stories commercially available (including but not limited to selling, licensing, or publishing for profit), you agree to include appropriate attribution to FableMatic. This attribution should clearly indicate that the story was created using FableMatic's AI-powered platform. Acceptable attribution examples include:

• "Created with FableMatic" (minimum requirement)
• "This story was generated using FableMatic's AI storytelling platform"
• "Powered by FableMatic AI Story Creation"

This attribution requirement helps us continue providing and improving our creative tools for all users. Attribution should be included in a visible location such as the book's credits, copyright page, or acknowledgments section.

4. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

5. Appropriate Use and Content Guidelines

6. AI-Generated Content and Your Rights

While our AI assists in creating your stories, you maintain full ownership of the final creative works. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content serves as a creative tool to help you develop your stories
• You may edit, modify, and personalize all AI-generated content
• The final stories reflect your creative input and vision
• You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing with children

Your creative contributions combined with our AI tools result in original works that belong to you.

7. Story Sharing and Community Features

When you choose to share your stories publicly through our library feature:

• You retain all ownership rights to your shared content
• You grant FableMatic a non-exclusive license to display your stories in our public library
• You can remove your stories from public sharing at any time
• Other users may read but cannot claim ownership of your stories
• We may feature exceptional stories in our marketing with your permission

8. Subscription and Token System

FableMatic operates on a subscription model with token-based AI usage:

• Subscription fees grant access to platform features and token allowances
• Tokens are consumed when using AI generation features
• Unused tokens may expire based on your subscription plan
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy

9. Data and Privacy Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information and creative content. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data collection, use, and protection. Your story content remains private unless you choose to share it publicly.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

While you own all content you create, FableMatic retains ownership of:

• The FableMatic platform, software, and technology
• Our AI models and algorithms
• Platform design, features, and functionality
• FableMatic branding, trademarks, and logos

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, particularly those creating inappropriate content for children. Upon termination:

• You retain ownership of all content you created
• You may request export of your stories and characters
• Access to the platform and AI features will be discontinued
• Subscription fees are subject to our refund policy

12. Limitation of Liability

FableMatic provides creative tools for storytelling. We are not responsible for how the content is used or interpreted by children. Parents and educators should review all content before sharing with children. Our liability is limited to the subscription fees paid.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
